THE FACESCORE FIELD NOTES · Understanding your results

What an AI face analysis can—and cannot—tell you

By FaceScore · Updated October 18, 2026

A face analysis can give you a new way to look at familiar features. The useful part is what you learn from it, rather than the number at the top.

What happens when you scan?

FaceScore uses your selfie to generate observations about facial features and personalized suggestions. In the app, you can explore a report, save scans, and use recommendations as a starting point for your routine.

These are AI-generated interpretations of a photograph. A photograph captures one angle, one expression, and one lighting setup. It does not capture everything about you.

Read the explanation before the score

Start with observations you can understand: what the report says about your features and which suggestions feel relevant. Treat a score as context within that report. It is not an objective measurement of attractiveness, health, or personal worth.

Turn observations into a manageable routine

Choose one small, realistic action from the recommendations instead of changing everything at once. Keep your own preferences and comfort in the decision. You can revisit earlier scans and routines without making a higher score the goal.

Know the limits

AI output can be inaccurate or inconsistent. Results may change with lighting, angle, expression, image quality, or the model itself. FaceScore is for personal exploration and entertainment; it does not diagnose skin conditions or replace professional advice.
